• This may be fairly unrelated to the plugin but I already have a WordPress site with a blog and search functionality that’s working.

Now I want to create a couple new recipes as posts with WP Recipe Maker. That I can do. But what’s the best way to have a page to search and display these recipes without interfering with my current blog and search function? Most of my posts are not recipes and I want to search and filter on various recipe fields.

I’m fairly novice and just came from using the Cooked plugin which used shortcode to provide the whole search and display functionality.

I understand you have a WP Ultimate Post Grid plugin but it doesn’t appear to have all the functionality I need.

Any help would be appreciated. I’m considering purchasing the plugin soon if I can figure this out.

With WP Recipe Maker, recipes are part of regular posts so you can use any plugin that search regular posts (maybe limited by category?).

On top of that we do have our WP Ultimate Post Grid that fully integrates with WP Recipe Maker and allows you to filter by ingredients, cuisines, courses, … as in the example on our demo site: https://demo.wprecipemaker.com/recipe-index/

Not sure what functionality you’re looking for specifically?
