Hi Doug.
We use the srcset and sizes attributes on images to ensure only the needed size is loaded. See this article: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Learn/HTML/Multimedia_and_embedding/Responsive_images
If you’re experiencing something else, let me know. [email protected]
Thank you for the reply. Right now, a recipe appears to grab the full-size image (600px wide as an example), and it displays at 175px wide (size forced via styling). But yes, the srcset does grab smaller images if available at lower resolutions.
I was hoping to specify specific thumbnail size for the recipes, such as 150×150 or similar.
Glad the right image size is downloading, Doug.
As for having a small thumbnail, we provide 2 of 5 premium themes that do have a small thumbnail on the top right.
Your can learn more about the premium features and upgrade here: https://www.ziprecipes.net/
Sorry for the delay. Great, thank you for the information. That’s what I needed to know.
