Recomendations for a Simple Calendar Plugin?

    I look after a website for our local tennis club and one of the things we have is a simple calendar to show what things are on at the club.

    Up until now I have been using the Time.ly Event Manager and this has worked fine. However, they’ve just told me I’ve exceeded the number of events allowed for the free version and want me to upgrade to a $30/month plan. This is not going to happen and I am looking for a free alternative to use.

    All we use it for is to display event details and there is no user interaction, so, pretty basic stuff!

    Can anyone recommend anything that would suit our needs that I can have a look at?

    For what I see on your site, is there any reason you can’t simply embed a public Google Calendar (or if you’re anti-Google, pick your calendar provider of choice)?
