# Recommend a compatible lightbox plugin?

 * Hi folks!
 * I’ve tried adding a couple of lightbox plugins to my WordPress install – when
   I run the site locally the lightbox works but when exporting via Simply Static
   it doesn’t work. There is no response when clicking on the photos.
 * This is just for images embedded within blog posts, can anyone recommend a plugin
   that works? Or is there configuration I can do that’ll allow the lightbox to 
   work?

 * have you made sure to down/upload the needed files from the plugin? SS doesn’t
   always include all the needed plugin files automatically. Plugin assets like 
   JS files might be missed and you’ll have to upload them manually (once) and also
   make sure any directory references are correct.
 * After doing this then some of the ones you’ve already tried should likely work.
   If not, then I suggest one that is purely JS and CSS (with tiny images for UI).
   I’ve been using “Pretty Photo” for a long time for that reason, but AFAIK it 
   was never placed into a stand-alone plugin, the version I use I place into a 
   custom site plugin with various common things I use a lot.
