 * I use WordPress as a CMS, so I have a static page rather than wordpress posts
   for my homepage.
 * Can anyone recommend a suitable mobile plugin or theme that would fit these circumstances?
 * I’m happy to run a copy of the site on a different domain and redirect for mobile
   browser detection.
