Recommended Payment Gateways.

Hi All,

Are there any payment gateways that you would recommend? I’ve researched Stripe, PayPal is already set up on my store but I’ve heard that 3D Secure is the latest and greatest!

Hi there,

A great deal depends on what you’ll be using it for (e.g. Subscriptions) and where you’re located since not all currencies are supported by every payment gateway.

Would you mind sharing a bit more on how your site should work while keeping the aforementioned in mind? Once we have that info, we’ll be able to provide a bit more guidance 🙂

It’s a basic Woocommerce store roughly 200 products which ship within the UK only.

Hey there!

I would recommend using either Stripe or Braintree powered by PayPal. Those are a couple of my favorite gateway plugins.

Hi everybody!
I’ve just started my Woocommerce journey half year ago and just few days ago I got an email from Stripe with a remind I have to check is my Payment Gateway is SCA ready. I never heard about that. So after I’ve done a research and found some information but I am not 100% sure is it correct. So please could you help to confirm it.
So I use Stripe & Paypal as my payment gateways.
1) As my Stripe gate I use WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/ . I found that original Stripe gate developed by Woocommerce https://woocommerce.com/products/stripe/ is SCA ready .
A question: ARE THEY THE SAME? They look for me the same but better to be 100% sure you know:)
2) As my Paypal gate I use original Paypal Checkout Gateway https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-gateway-paypal-checkout/ . But it’s not SCA ready. So I found that WooCommerce PayPal Powered by Braintree Payment Gateway https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/woocommerce-gateway-paypal-powered-by-braintree/#developers is SCA ready.
So a question: WILL IT BE BETTER IF I CHANGED MY DEFAULT GATE FOR THIS ONE? Is it difficult to swam them?
