# recursive redirect problem

 * This is my third WP site, but my first using a temporary URL (pending transfer
   of my domain name) and first using the SmallBiz theme. I’ve just installed it
   on Bluehost.com using the SimpleScripts package.
 * The home page seems fine, but when I try to visit any page linked to from the
   home page, a URL of the form
 * [http://66.147.244.73/~sundogpu/?page_id=6](http://66.147.244.73/~sundogpu/?page_id=6)
 * redirects to
 * [http://66.147.244.73/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/contact/](http://66.147.244.73/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/~sundogpu/contact/)
 * and of course fails.
 * What’s responsible for this behavior and how do I fix it? I haven’t messed with
   any of the settings apart from options in the theme.

 * Try changing your theme, or your Permalinks settings to another style and see
   if that helps. Double-check your Settings > General to make sure the home/site
   URLs there are setup properly

 * With help from the support chat at Bluehost, the diagnosis was “It was set to
   the wrong permalink structure.” It was somehow set to one of the non-default 
   options, it’s now set to the default option. Now it works.
