# Redirect Errors

 * I am using pingdom to get a status check of my site.
 * It tells me on several of my pages to minimize redirects, like: home, blog, resources
   pages.
 * I checked my xml sitemap and it seems that deleted menu items or pages are showing
   up in my xml sitemap.
    Could that be the cause of my problem? If so, how can 
   I get rid of the bad sitemap information?

 * I just checked and on those 3 pages, pingdom tell me under the response code 
   section that I have a 301 code, moved permanently.
 * I also deleted unused pages and the sitemap is up to date now.
