# Redirect loop – HTTP to HTTPS redirects

 * Hi Guys,
 * I have used this plugin many times on many different sites and it has always 
   worked like a charm. A friend asked me to redirect some URLS on his site from
   http to https. When I do this, it generates a redirect loop, which results in
   the too many redirects error.
 * Is there a way to do http to https redirects with this plugin without generating
   redirect loops?

 * You would be better configuring your server to handle the http=>https redirect.
   For example, if using Apache:
 * [https://wiki.apache.org/httpd/RewriteHTTPToHTTPS](https://wiki.apache.org/httpd/RewriteHTTPToHTTPS)
