 * Suddenly, without doing nothing,
    i discover that my self-hosted blog [http://www.bananartista.com/blog](http://www.bananartista.com/blog)
   doesn’t work anymore. Instead it loads and redirects to the wp-admin/install.
   php page …
 * I’ve tried to delete and reupload wp-admin , wp-includes folders
    and wp-.php
   root files but the problem persists.
 * What can i do to solve it ?
 * thank you

 * That will only happen if WordPress can’t find any of its tables inside the database
   it’s connecting to.
 * Check your MySQL database, is it still in tact? Also, check your wp-config.php
   file to make sure that the set table prefix matches the prefix on your database
   tables.

 * ….
    MySQL database is not intact. Is it possible that someone hacked it? Is it
   possibile for an hacker to access the database and delete all the tables ? Or
   what could have happened?

 * Yes, if all of the tables are missing in the database, I’d say it’s very possible
   that someone gained access to the database or your hosting account and removed
   them.
 * Do you have any backups that you could restore from?

 * No … I didn’t make tha backup …
 * But … how can they access to it ?
 * And … how I can protect it ?

 * Start by changing your hosting account passwords. And check to make sure that
   your hosting account email has not been changed.

 * If you use a week database password, it can be easy to guess, the same goes for
   your hosting account.
 * Have you contacted your hosting provider about this yet?
