# Redirection plugin problem

 * I’m using the latest version of the Redirection plugin. For some reason, this
   plugin creates incorrect URL redirects, e.g.:
 * [http://www.blogname.com/category/categoryname/article–&gt](http://www.blogname.com/category/categoryname/article–&gt);
   301 –> [http://www.blogname.com/categoryname/article](http://www.blogname.com/categoryname/article)
 * becomes
 * [http://www.blogname.com/www.blogname.com/categoryname/article](http://www.blogname.com/www.blogname.com/categoryname/article)
 * Resulting in another 404. How can I fix this?

 * You don’t need to specify the server name.
 * Source URL = /category/categoryname/article
    Target URL = /categoryname/article
