 * I’d like to know how to specify my redis server’s socket path instead of IP and
   PORT.
 * Using: unix:///var/run/redis/redis.sock or /var/run/redis/redis.sock fails.

 * Did you figure this out? I’m also looking for the same feature. It seems that
   W3 Total Cache only allows you to setup an url and a port.
