# Reduce database without losing all data.

 * First of all thank you for the fabulous plugin. It is worth any money.
 * Is there any possibility to reduce the size of the database(table cerber_traffic)
   without losing all data?
    1. I need data for 3 months but: a)only for logged 
   in users.  b) for logged in users, only log for: log in; log out; session, no
   needed other traffic.
 * 2. or it is possible to clear ‘smart” data ( one week) without losing the “minimal”
   one.
 * Would you tell me what is the best way to do this cleansing? 
 * A few days later the table cerber_traffic was about 400MB after 2 months. Then
   I decided to try the “smart” option instead of ‘minimal’.And now table cerber_traffic
   is huge, it has 2GB and 3 500 000 records.

 * The security algorithms of WP Cerber do not use data from the Traffic Inspector
   log to protect a website. This log is logged for analytics and diagnostic purposes.
   So you can completely empty the log with no consequences.
 * To reduce the log size and avoid excessive logging, you can optimize settings
   and reduce the amount of data stored in the log in the “Traffic Logging” section(
   Traffic Inspector -> Settings).
 * To selectively delete rows from the log, you can run an SQL query using a database
   admin tool or via a PHP script. Let me know if you need more info on that.
