# Reduce unused javascript

 * Great plugin, thank you so much.
 * I have set the cache of videos to cache=”2419200″, so most times we are not retrieving
   new videos from youtube.
 * I am trying really hard to optimize speed for pagespeed insights, and under “
   Reduce unused JavaScript” I see these are loading.

   or similarly from [http://www.youtube-nocookie.com](http://www.youtube-nocookie.com)
 * Is it possible to add a code snippet to not load these for cached content?
 * If not, is there a way to defer these js calls?
 * I already use asset cleanup pro to defer /wp-content/plugins/automatic-youtube-
   gallery/public/assets/js/public.js.

 * Sorry, the JavaScript files in your question are loaded by the YouTube Iframe
   Embed Code. So, we don’t have any control over them. But, I see our plugin JS
   files are loaded on all pages of the website regardless of our plugin shortcode
   is used or not. I have taken a note of this now and our next version coming out
   next week will have this issue addressed. So, the JavaScript files in your question
   will automatically be excluded in the pages that doesn’t use our plugin. Please
   be patient.
