 * Hello,
 * I installed & activated your plugin. I created an API key. However when i open
   the page in which the map is located, the following alert apears ” Referer Not
   Allowed Map Error – See [https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#referer-not-allowed-map-error](https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#referer-not-allowed-map-error)
   for more information”. Look at also the following image at [https://prnt.sc/](https://prnt.sc/).
 * Look at the image of the console window at [https://prnt.sc/jj1l37](https://prnt.sc/jj1l37).
   The url at “[https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#referer-not-allowed-map-error&#8221](https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#referer-not-allowed-map-error&#8221);
   indicated the following “The current URL loading the Maps JavaScript API has
   not been added to the list of allowed referrers. Please check the referrer settings
   of your API key on the Google API Console.”
 * Note that i havn’t secure protocol yet. Is is possible that this is the cause
   of url rejection?
 * Thank you
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Freferer-not-allowed-map-error%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * You need to add the website you are using to your google api settings.

 * Hi there,
 * Thanks for getting in touch with us.
 * To resolve this issue, please can you follow the steps outlined below:
 * 1. First, log in to the Google API Manager – [https://console.developers.google.com/apis/api/](https://console.developers.google.com/apis/api/)

   2. Then please click on ‘Credentials’ in the left hand column. This is where
   the referrers are set. 3. Then click the Pencil icon to the right of the API
   key for your Google Maps project. 4. Click the Restrict key button on the API
   key. 5. Scroll down to the Key restriction heading and select HTTP referrers (
   web sites). Add the following referrers to the text boxes below Accept requests
   from these HTTP referrers (web sites): *.theme-business3ree.ggeorgiou.work/* *
   theme-business3ree.ggeorgiou.work/* 6. Now, scroll down and click the Save button
   to save your changes.
 * The changes might take up to 5 minutes to take effect. After that, please test
   the map again and let me know if it helped.
 * Kind regards,
    Dylan
