Refresh when displayed for a few seconds

    The chat widget seems to refresh when it has been displayed for a few seconds on my website. At this point, the font style or size changes. The change isn’t a big change but it enough to notice

    Inspecting the Network tab in Chrome, it appears many stylesheet, font and script assets are loaded when I move my mouse over the main area of the chat widget for the first time. I expect these assets are responsible for the font changes I notice

    Hi Henry, can you provide a link to your site so we can replicate the behavior? Also, what locale have you chosen for the plugin?

    The same thing happens on every website using the plugin. The steps to reproduce are:

    1. Visit a website using the Facebook chat plugin
    2. The chat widget should be displayed
    3. Wait 2 or 3 seconds
    4. Move your mouse over the chat widget
    5. Many scripts, styles and fonts are then requested by the chat plugin (view Network tab in Chrome to get a list)
    6. The font style or size seems to change

    Note 1: The font style or size change isn’t massively noticeable but it is enough to feel unprofessional.

    Note 2: You don’t have to use this WordPress plugin to get this behavior. The Facebook chat plugin script can be added manually as well and you will get this same behavior.

    This wasn’t immediately reproducible for me, so I will need to look into reproducing this with the team and get back to you. Thank you for the effort and details, and sorry for the inconvenience.

    The video is 17 seconds. You should notice the text change at roughly the 12s point when I move my mouse over the chat widget area.
