 * The site was recently migrated, and I noticed that Jetpack Publicize was not 
   working today. I deactivated the plug-in, and reactivated, and now I get an “
   Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This usually
   means something is incorrectly configured on your web host. Couldn’t resolve 
   host ‘jetpack.wordpress.com'” error.
 * I have seen this error mentioned, but it always says to start a new thread with
   your specific error in those posts. So that is what I am doing.
 * Any idea on how I can fix this? Thanks.

 * p.s. I should mentioned everything was working fine before the migration. No 
   plug-ins were conflicting, and Publicize was working fine.

 * Can you please try installing the Jetpack Compatibility Plugin so we can see 
   some additional information from your site?
 * 1) Download the plugin from [http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/jetpack/branches/jetpack-compatibility-test.zip](http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/jetpack/branches/jetpack-compatibility-test.zip)
   
   2) Upload the plugin to your site via Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add New. 3) Activate
   the plugin and go to Plugins -> Jetpack Compatibility Test. 4) Click the “Select

 * Jeremy, I seem to have got things working. I erases the plug-in, and reinstalled,
   which still didn’t work. I erased it again, then uploaded through FTP instead
   of the WordPress uploader. At that point I stopped getting those errors.
