It’s possible to add custom profile fields in Vendors/Attributes section, but these fields will be added to the vendor profiles only (users with at least 1 listing), unfortunately there’s no option to customize the registration form for regular users at the moment.
The username itself can’t be changed in WordPress (even in the WordPress dashboard), but you can sync vendor names with the first/last name or any custom text attribute, so they will be able to change their front-end name (e.g. you can sync it with some Company or Brand field), you can set this in HivePress/Settings/Vendors section.

I was also trying to add vendors attributes to the listings (block and page). On the page it shows the attributes in both primary or secondary sections, but not in the short version of the listing (meaning when you see all listings from various users).
I created an attribute for vendors, Company, and indicated in display section that it should appear everywhere page/block primary/secondary. But still it does not appear in the short version of listing.
Could you please let me know if I should do it differently?
The listing block/page doesn’t show vendor attributes, it shows listings attributes only. But since the vendor block is displayed in the listing page sidebar if you assign attributes to the vendor block areas these attributes will be displayed on the listing page.

Yes, there’s no area with vendor attributes in the listing block, displaying vendor attributes there would require customizations.
