# Registration Loop

 * I have noticed an issue with WordPress, or maybe someone can help me find an 
   obvious solution.
 * I’ve noticed that when I create a new user from the admin dashboard, I’m asked
   to create their password and send them an email notification with the password.
 * However, the newly added user gets an email that has a link for them to set their
   own password. When they go to the link, the new user has to create a new password
   by using the “forgot password” link.
 * If I’m missing something, could someone please advise. Otherwise, if there is
   a core WordPress developer who is seeing this, maybe there can be a fix to registering
   a new user. As a suggestion, we can choose to send the user a “reset password”
   link instead of creating for them a password.

 * That’s intentional.
 * You need to set a password when creating the account so no one but you can utilize
   the account while it exists, waiting for the user to take over.
 * The user then needs to create their own password so only they can utilize the
   account going forward.

 * Thank you for your reply, James.
 * I discovered the issue of the loop. It was with the WooCommerce plugin, but I
   know that you can’t help me with that, so I’m using the default WordPress login
   page.
 * However, I did notice that when the new user goes through the link to set up 
   a new password, they get an error saying that the link is invalid. They will 
   have to put in their username or password to get ANOTHER link to reset their 
   password.
