    Hi,

    I’ve been moving several websites from GoDaddy to OneHopWeb, and the last one is proving to be a real problem.

    Before backing up from GoDaddy, the wp version, plugins, db, and themes were all up to date.

    I’ve installed wp by using Softaculous, uploading the ‘wp-content’ folder. All is working fine.

    Then I dropped all tables in the db, and imported the GoDaddy db backup (which was exported through the db).

    This is where the problem starts, when loading the website in the browser (Chrome) wp wants me to install it. I get the page where I’m asked to choose the language. When I choose ‘English’ I get the install page where I have to set username, password, etc. parameters. Did this… but there is no data.

    On my other websites, wp is using ‘localhost’ and is working fine.

    Does anyone have any ideas what could be the problem?

    I’ve done this exercise several times now, including creating wp using all the files from the GoDaddy server (wp-admin…etc.)

    Thanks for you help.

    Have just started again from scratch.

    Downloaded a fresh download from ww.wp.xz.cn

    Set up a new database, and imported the db from GoDaddy.

    Uploaded ‘wp-content’

    WP was uploaded via ftp.

    Install was competed successfully.

    Still no joy.

    What do you think I should now do?

    define(‘WP_ALLOW_REPAIR’, true);
