Do the related posts display as normal?

Does this plugin show up in the wp-admin > plugins page?
If it does something went wrong with deleting the plugin.

Can you post a link to page where the related posts show up?

The related posts section is created by your theme. Check your theme settings if you can disable them.

If you’re site is cached you need to flush the cache. If not, you should contact the theme developer and ask there how to remove the theme’s related posts.
