# relocating sidebar

 * I installed a “Mint” flavored theme [http://thewordpresspro.net/2008/01/14/mint-web-20-free-wordpress-theme/](http://thewordpresspro.net/2008/01/14/mint-web-20-free-wordpress-theme/)
   and works fine but, I’ve been trying to figure out how to move the sidebar from
   beneath the page content (where it looks like a footer) to the right side column.
 * I’ve checked two column themes to compare what I want but, everything I do to
   change the sidebar turns out wrong. What am I missing (aside from having a beginner’s
   knowledge of PHP)? I’m looking at the code and where the sidebar should go but,
   when I move it, the sidebar breaks the site and, I can’t seem to get the items
   in the sidebar to flow vertically.

 * I read documentation on pages, sidebars, changing themes, theme development, 
   stepping into templates, and various people’s sites. Am I overlooking simple,
   like not seeing for forest for the trees?
