 * Hi,
 * is it possible to insert the ffmpeg lib from another server, that you can encode
   all videos at another server – if there are any problems with an encoding process
   wordpress would still be running at the called scenario.
 * If not – I think it could be a paid feature 🙂
 * Best,
 * Ben

 * No, that’s not an option right now. It’s not simple. All of the video data would
   have to be transferred to the remote server for encoding and the transcoded media
   would then be returned to the local server. The security issues are not small
   either. Encoding.com offers a fairly simple way to do it through XML, but at
   a fairly significant cost, especially if you’re getting user-generated HD content.
   I’m considering some kind of integration with Encoding.com but setting up your
   own dedicated encoding server is such a complicated process that I can’t imagine
   there are enough potential customers for it to be worth my time to figure out
   how to write the code to do it.
 * What exactly is the problem you’re having now? FFMPEG is somehow preventing WordPress
   from running?

 * We´ve got different servers in our localhost at the university – so this wouldn
   ´t be the problem. It´s only a thought, that it would be better to encode all
   videos on a different server, to keep having a better performance control. But
   yes it would be complicated.
 * I only recognized, that videos with 1,5 hour length block loading a new page
   when they are playing. Example: You play such a video and would like to change
   to another post or page while this video is playing – it lasts very long till
   you´re directed. When you click on stop, this process works faster. Perhaps you
   could investigate, if there could be any problem.
 * Is it possible to include streaming server like wowza media server? Is such feature
   planed?
 * Best,
