# Remove Comments Section after unchecking Display Comments box

 * How would I remove the line that says, “NO Comments” or even just the whole comments
   section of my pages. I use comments on my posts, but I have a page as my home
   page and I do not want the bottom “Comments” section to be displayed there or
   on any other pages.
 * Thanks ahead for your help. I am using Arjuna 1.2 in case it isn’t shown somewhere.

 * Create a [custom page template](http://codex.wordpress.org/Pages#Creating_Your_Own_Page_Templates)
   for your theme and remove `<?php comments_template();?>` from this new template
   file. Apply to your Pages as required.

    i tried what u have mentioned … but comments from my posts were gone
   as well … let me tell you in detail i have enabled categories as my menu …categories
   can be linked to posts only and not pages … when i removed <?php comments_template();?
   > from my page.php …. the comments from my posts were also disabled..

 * Then you’ve either edited the wrong template file or you need to review your 
   discussion settings in Admin/Settings.
