You need a custom coding implementation to modify the default slug. Alternatively, you can use a plugin like “[Permalink Manager Lite](https://wordpress.org/plugins/permalink-manager/)” to change the default behaviour of any custom post type’s permalink. * Side note: we have a `wedocs_post_type` filter to manipulate the default slug name.
