# Remove double-date

 * Hi everybody,
    in my single event posts, a date is shown next to the link button
   right below the title ( [http://s1.postimg.org/99v70hl0v/Screen_Shot_2015_03_23_at_16_53_46.png](http://s1.postimg.org/99v70hl0v/Screen_Shot_2015_03_23_at_16_53_46.png)).
   Do you know which file and which lines to delete/edit to get rid of the first
   date and the two dots?

 * It’s set to display as posts. But changing the single-post file would change 
   different posts on the page as well, so that doesn’t seem like an effective solution.
   Creating a new template page would fix that, correct?

 * Yes, given you’re displaying events as posts you can make a copy of your single
   post template, name it single-events.php, and edit that template.
