# Remove duplicate directory

 * I paid a company to migrate my Blogger blog to WordPress – civilwarwomenblog.
   com. LSS, they left me with a mess. A directory – civilwarwomenblog.com/blog/–
   was somehow created that appears to be an exact duplicate of civilwarwomenblog.
   com. Should it be redirected? I’m a complete newbie and I don’t know what to 
   do.

 * The proper way would have been to set your Front Page to Latest Posts in settings
   >reading.

 * It looks like wp is running from your root directory. [http://ismyblogworking.com/civilwarwomenblog.com](http://ismyblogworking.com/civilwarwomenblog.com)
   
   I would rename the duplicate directory and see what happens. If all is well you
   can just leave it renamed or delete it.

 * Thanks for your prompt responses. Unfortunately I don’t know how to rename a 
   folder, or to delete it after it is renamed.
