# Remove externals.xml

 * Hi there. I have noticed that in my sitemap index is present the externals.xml
   map, but it lands to a 404 page and I’d like to remove it. How is it possible?
   I don’t find any reference to the externals pages in the plugin options page.

   issue.

 * thankyou very much. I have noticed another issue. The [page-sitemap.xml](https://www.nonnapaperina.it/page-sitemap.xml)
   does a redirect to the homepage instead of showing the list of pages. Is there
   some particular setting or other to control to fix this issue?
