# Remove Filter does not work

 * I’ve tested this plugin but it does not seem to work.
 * It changes the login label, but does not removes the ability to login with an
   email address.
 * It looks like the remove_filter line is not working.
 * Any updates about this?

 * I launched the plugin about a month before WordPress 4.5 was released so that
   people could test it on the beta and RC versions before 4.5 is released, but 
   I had no reports of issues from people who did test it. I have just checked whether
   the plugin is still working on my test sites with the released v4.5 — attempting
   to log in using the email address I get an ‘invalid username’ error when the 
   plugin is active as expected. This indicates that the plugin is working as it
   should on my test sites.
 * Could another plugin be hooking into the login on your site? To check whether
   this is the case, deactivate all other plugins and try logging in with an email
   address. If you cannot log in with the email address at that point, repeat the
   test after activating each plugin to identify which one might cause a conflict.

 * Thank you for your very fast response.
 * We’ve found out that one of our own plugins has the ability to log-in with EMAIL
   address.
 * So it was a plugin conflict.
    Thank you for pointing this out.
