# Remove Header

 * Hello,
 * I would like to remove my header (cmcarter.com) but I can’t seem to figure it
   out. I have entered this code into the custom CSS:
    **#header { background:none!
   important }”
 * The only thing it did was hide the background color. Is there anyway to remove
   it completely? (btw, I’m using Flatten Theme and I can’t read through the .php
   scripts to just delete it)
 * Anyone have any suggestions? Greatly appreciated if you do!!!

 * If you are referring to the big grey Christopher M. Carter link at the top then
   go into your _header.php_ in your child theme and delete the div and stuff inside
   the div below.
 *     ```

       ...
       </div>
       ```

 * And I’m using “Flatten Magazine,” but there doesn’t seem to be a forum for this
   particular theme. I’m trying get my personal bio to look something like this…(
