# Remove link missing

 * Hello – we want to remove a tagged author but there is no Remove link as per 
   the documentation – this is a screenshot from a site with no other plugins installed
   apart from Co-Authors Plus, and Twenty Nineteen theme:

 * Afraid we deleted that Evernote with the screenshot – but can supply another 
   one if needed. Would be great to get some advice on this, thanks.

 * As soon as I wrote that, I realised what the issue is. You can’t have zero authors
   of course, so if we want to change the author on a post, we have to add a new(
   second) author _first_, and then the Remove links appear and we can remove the
   first.
 * All sorted now!
