Hi @clarinda1
I tried visiting the link that you shared. From there I tried to visit the single store page and the page worked just fine as shown in this screenshot.
I am not pretty clear about which page you are getting the 404 error with. Also, would you mind sharing the plugin name that you found to be conflicting and causing a 404 error?
Thanks!
HI,
The 404 is shown when I crawl the page on Ahref. It has happened after I moved server.
Please see the link https://tinypic.host/i/o0bpBa
All of the store pages are crawled as 404 HTTP status code
The Issue is the themes plugin – REHub Framework
Can you tell me how to remove the link.
Thanks
Hi @clarinda1
You have mentioned that after changing the server you are getting 404 for all the store’s pages. This means after changing the server the permalink structure got changed somehow. This seems like the better solution will be reached to an SEO expert to assist you in this case.
I hope this help.
Thanks!
I want to remove the LINK, please tell me how to remove the link!
I do not need the shop and I want to remove the LINK. I have now asked this question 3 times and each time you give me information I have not requested and ignored my actual request.
Please tell me how to remove the LINK !
Hi @clarinda1
To remove 404 links from Google for a website, you can follow these steps:
- Find the 404 errors: The first step is to identify the pages with 404 errors. You can use Google Search Console to find these errors. Go to the Coverage report and look for pages with the status “404 not found.”
- Redirect the pages: Once you have identified the pages with 404 errors, the next step is to redirect them to relevant pages on your website. You can use a 301 redirect to send users and search engines to a new URL.
- Update the sitemap: After you have redirected the pages, update your sitemap to reflect the changes. Remove the URLs that no longer exist and add the new URLs that you have redirected to.
- Resubmit the sitemap: Once you have updated your sitemap, resubmit it to Google Search Console to ensure that the new URLs are indexed.
- Monitor the results: Keep an eye on your Search Console to ensure that the 404 errors are no longer appearing.
It’s important to note that removing 404 errors won’t happen immediately. It can take some time for Google to crawl and re-index your website.
Please note that: the steps I mentioned are related to SEO, and as a WordPress technical support team, we do not have expertise in this area. We recommend seeking assistance from a professional SEO expert who can provide guidance and help you with resolving issues related to removing 404 links and resubmitting sitemaps.
Thank you for understanding and hope the information will help.
Thanks!
