# Remove native gallery markup (html)

 * Hello guys,
 * I’d like to know if there’s some kind of function to remove / edit the HTML markup
   that the native gallery outputs in WordPress.
 * I would need to use the gallery to show images in posts (because of a plugin)
   but not need the HTML code that comes with…which is messing a slider.
 * Many thanks if some of you guys have any tip,

 * Actually i think that what’s messing that slider is the css that comes with the
   native gallery.
    You’ll have to edit out the media.php file in the wp-includes
   folder starting from line 825 till 840.
