# Remove "on"

 * I am using Canvas, a Wootheme.
 * This client would like to have the date removed in old blogs.
    I set your plugin
   to 30 days : [http://forwardmotioncareers.com/a-letter-to-the-united-states-we-need-hope/](http://forwardmotioncareers.com/a-letter-to-the-united-states-we-need-hope/)
 * I see that the date is hidden on the actual blog post- except for that annoying“
   on”
    hmm The over 30 days still date shows up on the the blog home page. Can 
   we hide that too?

 * Thanks for the message! (sorry it’s taken me a while to get back to you!)
 * In order to hide the “on”, you’ll need to modify your theme files (I recommend
   using a child theme) to wrap the word “on” in a span with a class of “date”. 
   Because it’s a pay theme, I can’t know for sure which file needs to be duplicated
   in a child theme, I’d search around for the the string `<div class="post-meta"`
   and that should get you close to the correct file.

 * To hide the dates on archive pages, you’ll also need to modify theme files. I
