# Remove Promote button

 * Hi,
 * I would like to understand how the “Promote” button works.
    I have not found 
   anything in the documentation. When I click on the promote button, I get a 404
   page. Can I delete this button? Thank you.

 * Promote button is used to pay per ad for specific criteria e.g. top, featured,
   bump up. You can check this documentation [https://www.radiustheme.com/docs/listing-management-admin/pricing/](https://www.radiustheme.com/docs/listing-management-admin/pricing/)
 * Did you set up checkout page properly? May be checkout page does not exist, that’s
   why showing 404 page.
 * If you don’t want payment option, you can remove promote button by disabling 
   payment from Classified Listing -> Settings -> Payment
