@rahul – Could you reply to this. I’m seeing extra sidebar. It makes the page look spammy.
I am showing subscribe widget and question status widget by default. only way to remove them is override question.php and remove that 2 widgets.
I already posted a solution how to remove this two widgets in our site.
If Anspress is used with a full page with NO sidebars, it is just OK. But if there is a sidebar (usually) the stats are messing the whole page and leave little space.
Why this has reverted back ? It was removed and now it is back. Why that can’t be just a widget ?
Also where exactly are the instructions to remove it ?

Its reverted because subscribe widget will be important for upcoming version.
I will add an option to toggle this.

This plugin is one he best Q&A for WordPress. But I think the biggest problem is Rahul making adhoc changes.
It would make be really good if you can with with a UX specialist to have a fixed layout.
You can’t keep changing the layout, removing standard options or moving, toggling things with every minor release.
There’s been new release for every day or 2 in last week. Every time, I have to spend 20 mins testing if everything is working ( like user can ask question, edit questions, reply, close, assign category). Why? My readers keep complaining that they can’t post new question or post a reply.
Please don’t make MAJOR layout changes and wait for users to come back complaining , then give an option to toggle it.
There was some old codes which must need to be updated.
We are not adding a new feature in minor release, just bug fixes which you can update. From now we will take care of old version user whenever we release a major version.
BTW: if you are interested in beta testing let us know.
