Remove Restriction Message for text block

    I would like to make only certain content appear on a page based on a user role. I have used your shortcode and that is blocking the content. However, I don’t want the restricted content message to appear in place of that block. What I was hoping was like shown in your screenshot, show one message for one group of users, another message for another group, etc.

    How can I remove the restricted message for that particular page that has role specific content but keep it enabled for full pages they don’t have access to?

    Are you using the shortcode or the restriction editor?

    If the restriction editor then just clear out the text in the settings.

    If the shortcode try passing in [content_control message=””] hidden content for logged in users [/content_control]

    Not sure if I follow your clarifying question, but it did lead me to a solution. Maybe it is the best way, but if not, look forward to your reply.

    I am using the restriction editor (Wp-admin –> Settings –> Content Control) to restrict pages of content. I am using the shortcode on one specific page.

    Use case: A user logs in and is redirected to a landing page. On that page is content that I need visible based on the role(s) the user has.

    On that landing page, I am using shortcodes to restrict content based on role. Based on your reply, I added message=”” to the shortcode and that appears to provide the intended result. Thank you.
