# Remove slider header

 * Hi, we only have one image in the header slider so I’ve removed the left and 
   right arrows from the theme’s code.
 * However, that one image refreshes itself every few seconds, like it’s still trying
   to scroll between multiple images.
 * Is there a way to remove that slider functionality completely?

 * If you want to display just an image and remove slider then you can do it using
   customizer.
 * To remove slider: From your dashboard, go to **Appearance > Customize > Himalayas
   Slider Options > Slider Settings** and uncheck **Enable the slider** to disable
   the slider.
 * To put a single image in the header: go to **Appearance > Customize > Header 
   Media** and you can upload your required image clicking on Add new image.
 * Finally, click on **Publish **to save it.
 * Follow the steps above and see if it helps to fix your problem? Please let us
