# Remove Text From Header

 * I have some text (” /> ” /> ” /> ) in the upper left hand corner of the header.
   My page is bangnslap.com How do I remove it? Here’s the header code from the 
   editor:

 * That was actually your style.css file — which I hope is not in your header.php
   file – it surely should not be. **If need be post your header.php file to a pastebin—
   do not paste it here – see the above link.**

 * Looks like you have a bunch of problems in the header.php file:

 * Fixing those may help you find the stray tags.
 * And you absolutely should be using a child theme rather than making changes to
   theme files — you will lose all those changes when WP is updated.
