We have Mosaic/Masonry views, which are accessible with Pro version only. With these views the images thumbnails get created proportional to original image. Or if you want to stick with this view, you can make the thumbnails larger. Thank you.

Cool I went ahead a purchased it. Would you happen to have a link that shows how to install the while keeping all my current photos and galleries?

You need to go to Plugins>Photo Gallery>Deactivate. Then need to return to Plugins section and delete it , press Yes to appearing message and then install the latest version. This way not data will be lost. Thank you.
