If activation of this snippet results in all your CSS being wiped out, it’s a strong indicator that your theme is reliant on the Gutenberg (block editor) styles.
The purpose of this snippet is to remove default styles for WordPress Gutenberg blocks, which improves the performance of the websites that do not use Gutenberg.
