Removing Default Post in PlayCast Pro Theme

I am currently using the landing template, which is a stripped down version of the other templates. It gives me the main menu on top, and a white post box, which all my code on “edit page” goes into. My goal is to make a custom template where I remove the white post box and all my code just goes directly on the page under the main menu. My usual method would be to take the landing template and delete the parts of the template I don’t need in the HTML and save it as my custom template. The only problem is in the landing template it uses the method “remove_action” and doesn’t really have any HTML. So is there any way I can remove that white post in the landing template so my code goes right on to the back of the page?
