Removing information

Hi. I have tried posting here for a little help, but I have not recieved any feedback, and when I have made a second attempt to get some information, I was told that I am not allowed to ask a question about the same topic? and my question was removed without feedback.I have a question that no one responding to in the middle of the night when I posted it, so I thought I would try again at a more reasonable time of the day and I was immediately shut down. This all seems extremely unhelpful, but I am in desperate need of help.

I’m using the Retina theme, and I am trying to remove the date, author, and category. I have read through some forums for other themes and people have been able to remove these items, but I am having difficulty removing them from my site. I got the date removed, but the calendar icon, author, and category are still there. Any ideas? Thanks.
