You’ll have to set your permalinks. More info: http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Using_Permalinks
Is it possible to apply permalinks to only pages and not posts?
I think that you can post permalinks to pages when they are written as a page, but not to pages with posts to flag the page. If that is what you mean, Nita.
In other words, what I see you asking is this:
May I apply a permalink to a page, and have that page of posts permalinked?
Of course, if you are looking to turn off the permalinks to the posts, I did that once by accident. I can look through the forums and find that post.
But, again, if you are looking to link to pages of posts, I think you would be better off archiving and doing it that way.
Am I understanding you?
I guess the question was about Pages (as defined in the Codex) and posts. You seem to overcomplicate it, father 🙂
A question to this one: Is it possible to make up an html site, refer to the WP CSS code and put this html site into the content auf the BLOG?
Furthermore, is it possible to *not* show the names of pages in the normaler menue, but in another one where I put them in manually? I do not want to use the “normal” menue for my pages navigation.
Yes. Yes. (what is “normal”? 🙂
I’ve been playing around with a test installation of the Semiologic theme, it makes WP appear more like a CMS than a blog … which is almost perfect for what I have in mind for one of my hobby sites, but the problem is that I would like for pages to be Permalinked, but not posts.
