A few issues with this plugin, being used with the Avada theme. At first it worked fine, we were able to move one post to be in the second most recent spot… but once new posts were added it did not maintain that spot.

When I tried to move the post back to the right position, the post display became ASCENDING with oldest post first for some reason. I move the post again back to the original spot and it’s fine. I unpublish that moved post, and ascending order for the rest of the posts.

The plugin shows draft posts in the re-order settings page, which it should not.

There is no “reset” post order button to clear settings. I can get my site working minimally again by deleting the plugin but when I reinstall the settings are still there.

    Any advice?

    Hi,
Most probably the order for the mentioned area is not Archive, which the plugin can maintain, but something else like a category or tag. You can re-order for such a specific section only through the advanced plugin version.

    Thanks

this section has multiple categories, omitting one category, and is not the archive page. Avada is filtering which categories appear in a section.

I think there’s two issues going on; one, your plugin should not “count” draft posts that aren’t currently published; two, it’s a little fussy with other post management.
