 * hey guys,
    I tried installing this great plugin which, properly configured, seems
   to be working 🙂
 * The point is: it always loads the latest 5 recent posts 😀
 * Do you know how to fix this?

    the plugin loads the posts that are present on the next page. So, the number
   of the posts depends by the wordpress option “post per page”
