 * I am looking for a way (via plugin or something else) to take a site offline 
   on a regular basis, like every Sunday.

 * Thanks for posting your suggestion. It’s my fault for not being clear. What I
   am looking for is something I can set to take the site offline automatically 
   every Sunday and go back online on a Monday.
 * Please let me know if you have any ideas.
