 * I am having issues not seeing the editor and new post tool bars gone, all white
text and can not add media ([more info](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/editor-and-new-post-tool-bars-gone-all-white-text-can-not-add-media/#post-9624321))
 * While trying to find the issue, I found one [YouTube suggestion](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGdj1lKPTs8)
to replace the TinyMCE file in the directory(?).
 * I found several version of the file, but not sure which one to download. Is there
a way to figure out which one to use and then is it just a copy and paste deal?

 * Don’t replace them with files from TinyMCE, replace them with files from a fresh
WordPress download. Doing that is simple, visit Dashboard > Updates in your site’s
Dashboard and hit the “Re-install Now” button. This will not affect your content
or settings, it will simply re-install all WordPress core files, including the
   TinyMCE files.
 * If that makes no difference, try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the
issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.
 * And, if that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Seventeen
theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like
   plugins).

 * OK, thank you! I’ll try the fresh install. I tried switching themes, and deactivating
plugins, but will try again in once the new install is in.

 * [@macmanx](https://wordpress.org/support/users/macmanx/) when you reload WP,
will it overwrite all the plugin information?

 * No, it will only re-install the core files. All of your plugins, themes, content,
uploaded media, and settings will remain untouched.
