 * What I would request?
    Post to Page Option via drop down menu
 *  I would like to be able to create a page, we’ll say (as an example) News, when
   I want to write a News post I would like to see it on that News page only.
 * PLEASE consider this option it would make our lives a lot easier .

 * That would be done one of a few ways.
 * 1) Make a page called news and make a custom page template that calls every post
   you flag as news in Categories: [http://codex.wordpress.org/Pages#Page_Templates](http://codex.wordpress.org/Pages#Page_Templates)
 * 2) Just use categories and let that sort it out naturally 😉

 * This seem like a lot of work for someone that has never used wordPress ..
    Wouldn’t
   be easier just to add this to an update?

 * WordPress isn’t a mind reader. It can’t KNOW what you want unless you tell it.
   So yes, you have to work at it.
 * There are options, none of them are particularly complicated (except #3 – CPTs
   are not for the novice). This way, you can do what you want, I can do what I 
   want, and everyone has choices 🙂
