Is there a way to sort the data export by username? I guess I am requesting that you add a column for username to the export file so we can sort by user. This would allow us to see which users are most active on the website more easily or which users are having difficulty logging in.

That’s a good idea. I will add this to the next update!

…and that update is released now! Please try the just released version 2.24, it should contain user login and user email in the CSV export.

Thank you very much!!! That was quick. I am still having some issues though with the report. Below are some further suggestions:

    1. Add a column for attempted username or update the content displayed for failed logins.

In going through the csv file I notice that the username column is blank for all entries other than logged in entries. For failed attempts it says “Failed to login with username “[username]” (incorrect password entered)”. This wording makes it difficult to sort the information. Ideally I would like to see the attempted username in the same column for username or a separate one.

    2. Are you also able to add a new column for IP address?

I see that a specific IP address is listed for several failed login attempts. I am trying to figure out who is trying to access multiple accounts. This person is also trying to access my admin account which I find a bit concerning. As an external consultant, I don’t want to bring up issues unless I have detailed information to present.

    Thanks so much!

The missing username column will be fixed in the next update, thanks for reporting that one.

You can see the ip adress if you click on the event date/time in the Simple History page in WordPress admin. So you can still see it, even if it’s not included in the export.
